Namaskar!

I greet the divinity within you. My music reflects my gratitude for spirituality and music in my life. I have had the good fortune to practice Ananda Marga meditation for over four decades. My albums include mantra music or kiirtan, singing the mantra Baba Nam Kevalam, which means Love is the Essence of All as well as albums of songs, including spiritual songs for children. I am also grateful for all the wonderful musicians who have contributed to my albums over many years. It has been a beautiful journey.

Abundance Prayer--A song to Divine Beloved with lyrics by Tosha Silver

Author Tosha Silver writes: "I adore helping people access the Divine in deep, alive and authentic ways..." The words of this song are from her book "It's Not Your Money." I worked through the book changing it to "It's Not Your Music" which indeed echoes my feeling about the act of creation. In the process of reading the Abundance Prayer daily as suggested in the book, I couldn't help but start to sing it, and eventually sit at the piano and write this song. I have so much gratitude to the talented Kim Kirkman who co-created the arrangement and added piano, violin and recorded the song at his cozy Nest Studio at the Crystal Waters Permaculture Village. Thanks also to Simon Kurieta who filmed and edited this beautiful video with our lovely group of friends. It was filmed in the early morning at Bridge Creek where I have been swimming and meditating almost every evening of the Australian summer. A sacred place for me. ---------------------- Lyrics: Divine Beloved, allow me to give with complete ease and abundance, knowing that You are the unlimited Source of all. Let me be an easy, open conduit for Your prosperity. Let me trust that all my own needs are always met in amazing ways and that it’s safe to give freely as my heart guides. And equally, let me feel wildly open to receiving. May I know my own value, beauty, and worthiness without question. Let me allow others the supreme pleasure of giving to me. May I feel worthy to receive in every possible way. Change me into one who can fully love, forgive, and accept myself So I may carry Your Light without restriction. Let everything that needs to go, go. Let everything that needs to come, come. I am utterly Your own. You are me, I am You, we are One. All is well. All is well. All is Well Divine Beloved, Divine Beloved, All is well. --------------------- Credits: Lyrics by Tosha Silver from her book It's Not Your Money: How to Live Fully From Divine Abundance Composed and performed by Kamala Alister Violin, piano, recording and mixing by Kim Kirkman, The Nest Studio Mastering by Pix Vane Mason Video filming and editing by Sai Kurieta Special thanks for their cheerful friendship to to the video actors: Saskia, Sudeshana, Kayla, Frida, Anna, Emily and Aevum Filmed at: Ananda Kamala Master Unit / The River School Sunshine Coast, Australia Gratitude to Tosha Silver for permission to use these beautiful lyrics and for her inspiring teachings Kamala Alister Music ©2025 In association with Renaissance Writers and Artists Association (RAWA), Australia Join me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/kamala_alister_music/ Find out more: www.kamalamusic.com
Peace Prayer–Ho'oponopono

Peace Prayer–Ho'oponopono

During an intense and unfortunate conflict with neighbours, I felt guided to learn about and practice this prayer. It comes from the ancient Hawaiian tradition of Ho’oponopono which prioritises restoring relationships to bring healing. It aligns with my own experience that, despite all conflicts and differences, there is an inner space where peace can be found. I repeated these words internally and at points in the conflict when I was inclined to worry and tension, I felt guided to sit at the piano and work on crafting this song. I hope it may help others also find peace. Ho'oponopono is an ancient Hawai'in practice that enhances reconciliation and "putting things to right." It has been used for dispute resolution and mental cleaning that is part of deeper physical healing. Dr. Hew Len, who popularised this prayer, wrote that he used it to heal a ward of criminally insane patients by continually reciting these words for each person, with genuine feelings of unity, forgiveness and gratitude. ------------------ “If we can accept that we are the sum total of all past thoughts, emotions, words, deeds and actions and that our present lives and choices are colored or shaded by this memory bank of the past, then we begin to see how a process of correcting or setting aright can change our lives, our families and our society.” Morrnah Nalamaku Simeona, Ho'oponopono teacher ------------------- Lyrics I love you I'm sorry Please forgive me Thank you Whatever comes between us Whatever keeps us apart I know that I'll always find you In the silence of my pure heart Where's peace when we hurt each other? Where's peace when we harm ourselves? There's peace when we come together In my heart I'm here to help ----------------------------- Lyrics inspired by Ho'oponopono, the Hawaiian healing art of reconciliation Popularised by Dr. Hew Len Composed and performed by Kamala Alister Violin, piano, recording and mixing by Kim Kirkman, The Nest Studio Video filming and editing by Sai Kurieta Mastering by Pix Vane Mason Video actors: Kamala and Kim Kirkman With special thanks to: Sai, Kayla, Frida, Anna, Francesca, Emily, Aevum and Fraser the cat Dance choreography concept: Saskia Willems-Brough Filmed at: The Dome, Crystal Waters Eco Village Ananda Kamala Master Unit Sunshine Coast, Australia From the album Treasures Kamala Alister Music ©2025 In association with Renaissance Writers and Artists Association (RAWA), Australia
